Something broken, confusing, or just an opinion? Write to hello@monkeysgo.app. A real person reads it, and the monkeys are used to complaints.

Reporting a bug

The most useful thing you can send is the version. Open the menu with the button at the top right of the board, tap Settings, and the version and build are at the bottom — something like Version 1.188.0 · 953369f. That one line tells us exactly which build you were playing, which is usually the difference between a fix and a guess.

There is also a Send feedback row in that same Settings screen. It packs up your note and everything we would otherwise have to ask you for, ready to paste into an email.

My match disappeared

The game keeps one match at a time, on your own device. Starting a different board replaces it, and the game asks first every time it is about to. Two things that are not losses: leaving to the start screen keeps your match — Resume brings it back — and the tutorial never touches the match you had going.

Taking something down

Want a score off a leaderboard, or anything else removed? Email hello@monkeysgo.app with the nickname it was under and we will see to it. The privacy page has the long version.

The game itself

Thirty turns, one island, and a rival who wants it. There is a tutorial on the front page if you would rather be shown than told, and a new board every day that everybody plays. Go and play it.
